Hiya, I have two corn snakes and when I went on holiday for a week, a reptile shop looked after them.
I came back and collected them and found them both to have mites. I called the rep shop and they said to keep them in what I used for moving them which was some small tubs, (not in the vivs) and to bring them in the next day.
Next day, I brought them in and the guy explained that there had been one person's snake who they had looked after who had mites and quite a few of the snakes had them. He sprayed the tubs I brought them in and some tissue then wiped down both snakes thoroughly with the tissue. I brought them home, changed the aspen to kitchen roll and stripped down accessories to just a hide and a water bowl. Inside the hide I put the tissues that he used to wipe them down (after checking for mite boddies). And before putting the snakes in their new sterile-ish vivs I checked for any mites wandering around that I could grab.

What I'm really asking, is that they are both due a feed today (today they were sprayed). Should I feed them, they are fed in a different tub, or will the chemicals or bugs get into the mouse in any way and damage the snake? They are both healthy (one is fat lol) so they can afford to miss a feed, would that be better? One was meant to be fed on sunday but I was still on holiday, and the other was fed on thurs and is due today but he is smaller.

Thanks for reading, any advice apreciated :)
