I got back from my hols yesterday and one of my first jobs was to feed the snakes.
Little Kalypso has decided that refusing pinkies is just silly. I've been feeding her in a small tub in a quite corner of the room, but last night she shocked me by launching herself at her pinkie before I'd finished putting her in the tub with it.
I told my daughter to grab my camera and by the time she got it Kalypso just had the 2 legs sticking out of her mouth. She practically inhaled it lol!

I think she was ravenous. I've never seen such a young snake go so mad for its food lol!

Yep mine did that when I fed him a day later than usual, as I was away over the weekend. Totally forgot about the fact he likes to eat in the dark, the minute I saw him out I put him in his rub, tried to wave the pinkie around to see if he would strike, then gave him his pinkie and two seconds later it was gone! Was wondering whether I'd need to move him up to two pinkies but he hid away after the first one while I cleaned his faun out, so I think he doesn't need more food yet.

Heh,heh sounds like he was a hungry boy. If theres still a decent sized lump in his belly from the pink he'll be ok staying on the one.
