My poor little albino gerbil Indy had to be put to sleep today as he had wounded his ear badly and lost an awful lot of blood he was 1yr 7 months old. RIP little man.

Sadly, his father Ace, who is 2yrs 7 months old, has recently developed an abdominal skin tumour, which he keeps biting and causing to bleed, and will also have to be put to sleep this week as antibiotics have failed to prevent infection and pain.

Feeling rather low today.

I feel you, sorry for your loss :(
I've had gerbils over the years, and I lost most of them to those horrible tumors. I could only be thankful that my last gerbil didn't chew hers.

Thank you for the comments, Indy's father Ace went to sleep tonight after struggling with his tumour for two weeks, it was very peaceful. At least they're together now
