My corn is currently on medium mice, they go down very easy and barely leave a bulge ... Do you think its time to go on large mice |

Thanks ... I'll buy a large this week and see how it goes, he is swallowing the mediums so fast, last week he swallowed it in about 30 secs :) |

It does depend on how big your snake is. As hatchlings the leaving a bump bit is handy but once they hit adult size its not that simple, for example a snake verging on overweight could eat a large mouse and leave not much of a bump but it doesn't need to go up a size that would just make a fat snake even fatter. |

the mediums go down very easily now, he has been on them for about 6 months. Would it be worth feeding him a large less often than I would with a medium or does that defeat the object? |

he is 14 months ... about 2.5ft and 3cm in diameter across the thickest part of his body, the mediums were hardly touching the sides anymore |
