Woke up this morning and Freddie has had his first shed looks pretty hole was little bit on end of tail took it off with a small damp cloth . I didn't realise how big he had become till I seen shed can you keep shed ?

The shed is always bigger than the snake. Cant remember exactly the percentage that it is in comparison with the snake, but someone will tell you

Yes you can keep the shed my oldest daughter has all of my snake's shedding in a box in her room

Cheers so it doesnt need anything to preserve it then,this is a silly question but hoe is shed bigger than snake I thought that was size of snake cause I've never measured him without him wriggling so gave up as I wasn't wanting to stress him

Their shed streches when they pull it off. I think its usually around 10-15% longer from what i've read.

Cheers for that need keep that in mind cause I put it round length and width off his faun and said you will need bigger faun soon but that will last little longer now lol
