You can try feeding him...if he doesn't eat it, you can leave it in overnight (and take it out the next morning if it is still there) - if he doesn't eat it then just wait until after he has shed before you try again. Is this his first shed with you (congrats if so)

Yes am a bit scared no wanting to touch him he is so gentle have read about them as hatchlings striking and rattling there tail he has done none of this in month we have had him must be waiting till he's bigger to tag me lol
he will know your smell, i've been rattled once but never tagged 'yet' and i think i just stunned him, snakes can go weeks/months without food so missing a feed because he's blue won't hurt
