hey all, after my corn snake went missing i was cheeking his tank when i noteced some furry poop now usually his poop isnt furry so i am thinking he isnt digesting properly he is currently on one medium mouse a week and he has been taking it no probs so i am a little worried. could it be that when i was cleaning him i somehow missed a poop and it went hairy like out of date tomatos?!!?


any help is aprecciated x

They dont digest the fur, (correct me if i'm wrong!) or it did just go mouldy. Any luck finding him?

most likely the fur from the mouse - normal, the fur on tomatoes is mould

yer i can tell the difference between my corns that are on pickies and the ones that are on small mice and they are furry and smell alot more

I find that if I miss a poop and it dries up it does look hairy rather than just the dark colour of a fresh one

If the poo is hairy, clean him out more often! most of the time they do digest the fur, but not all the time.
