Hi all
well little Tuppence has been here now for almost 2 weeks and he's going from strength to strength. He a cheeky little tinker and shows no fear where Ozzie and the cats are concerned. He was a little bit picky where his food was concerned but he has only ever been fed on dandelion leaves and lettuce but with a little bit of gentle persuasion he is now eating anything I put in his bowl, I've ordered a nice big run for him and it should be here on Monday/Tuesday so he will be able to spend much more time outside weather permitting. Here's a couple of photos from today tucking in to his dinner.

I really like tortoises. My sister has one (7/8yrs old i think). She thinks she's ace too. Sadly i dont have a garden, otherwise id get one myself. Maybe one day!
EDIT: Only thing she didnt like was when one year she chose to put her in hibernation. She said she did nothing but worry about her. So in the end she decided not to do it again. |
