Well this morning I went to take a look at an MBK at a pet shop. The snake was gorgeous but I'm not sure it was an MBK as it had a lot of cream/yellow flecks and there were obvious markings. I'm no expert but it looked like a desert king.
I um'd and ahh'd for ages over what to do but in the end I came home empty handed MBK's are now no longer on my wishlist, they are on my need list.

Oh you need a mbk, like this one?

:p

Probably wasn't, my guy have like 3 flecks on his belly but not obvious patterns. Did the shop tell you it was a MBK? If so it probably has MBK blood x another king. Seems to be happening quite a bit shops trying to sell them like that.

A very special super, duper thanks for K :3

Ooh,yes exactly like that one! Are you going to give him to me then?
Yep it was advertised as an MBK,had the correct latin name for one but I think it was either a desert or some kind of cross. Was still lovely but not what I want. Gutted.

Yeah D: I could only get hold of an adult, he was fairly cheap though and snugly so I'm not really bothered!

Its a Mexican Black King snake.

I'm over your way next week Katie,I'll pick up your little poo bag rattler on my way back to port then!!
Your pet shop sounds brill. What is the name of it as it would be nice to get my *fix* while I'm away from my snakeys?

Although if you're in Dublin city, it might be a bit out of the way!

I'm in Cheshire. Miles away from all MBK's by the looks of it!!

Cheers for that Katie. May pop in one or both of them if I get chance. Have no plans to visit the city itself but plan to go the Guiness Factory so hopefully its not too far away.
