This is Enzo, our 4 month old Aru green tree python, he is AWESOME!
I love his yellow colours, but at the same time I'm looking forward to when he changes to his adult green colours! |

WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! Absolutely gorgeous! I saw some pics of one going through the colour change the other day. Totally shocked me as I thought,in my ignorance that they must change a little with each shed but its really fast isn't it!! Fab photo's by the way. I saw some little uns at a show a few weeks ago and fell in love. |

Thank you everyone for your comments!
As far as I'm aware, he'll reach around 5ft, but apparently they're quite slow growers, I currently have him in a 3 litre RUB, and will upgrade him into an Exo Terra 30x30x45 once he outgrows it, and I've been told that he can live in the Exo for around 18 months before needing upgrading again He's absolutely tiny at the mo, those branches he's sat on are about the same width as a pen! Kehhlyr, he is indeed from Chris Johnson! I absolutely recommend him, he's really friendly and extremely knowledgeable, he's been a fantastic help whenever I've asked him any questions. We travelled for 4 hours to get to him and it was well worth it! Mort, I was surprised too at how quick the change was, was it Doone's thread you saw where it went from yellow to green in about 4 days? That was crazy! I'm not sure if they all do it that quick, but it sure is cool!

Yes it was Doones thread. I couldn't believe the change! Do they tend to start at a certain age? |

Teehee he is really cute isn't he, I love his tiny face and huuuge eyes! I love the washing line reference haha, so true!! I'm sorry Newbie haha, I must confess I hadn't planned on buying this guy at all, we actually went with a friend for him to pick one up for himself....then we saw them and were like WHOA, there was no way we were leaving without one!! As far as I'm aware, they usually start to change at around 9-12 months old, so I've still got a few more months to go of bright yellow pics! And then he'll probably be the same colours green as this funny looking smiley! |
