Hey thanks for the comments . I'm a sbit nervous about her gettin huge to be honest , but she's pretty ok to handle now and very gentle . We brought her off a seller who advertised her as a dwarf yes , but then the guy who originally bred her told me she wasn't . She's got 50% chance of being dwarf and she's two atm |

I wouldn't worry to much about her getting to big to be honest. If she's regularly handled then she'll be nice and chilled out anyway. I've always thought that boas are the more intelligent of the snake species so she should stay nice and gentle. At least until it comes to going back into the viv, mine don't like going back in once they are out, so can be awkward when going back in. It's the feeding that I find fun though, the strike and constrict is awesome and incredibly fast. |

looking at her, shes got quite a pronouced CA (central american(dwarf)) influence, which is probably where the hypo comes from. Pastels are known not to get overly big, i have a male pastel and hes only about 5.5ft and fairly slim. Feeding wise, i think it was mentioned in your other post, feeding it smaller feeds isnt gonna stop it getting big, it just means you'll end up with a hungry snake. THey grow to what they grow to, theres nothing you can do to change that. |
