hey
my two corns were sold to me as male and female. a snow and a normal (carolina) but it turns out they are both male.
im still learning about recesive genes in corns and just wanted to know what morph is best to breed with my snow.
am i best going for another snow so i get some anery's and some amels and maybe snows? or is there any other morph that will give me something other than normals with hets?
thanks in advance, sorry for the nooob questions but i supose we all start somewhere

best way to do it is to have a play with one of the various progeny predictor/corn calc programmes and try various morphs for the female but obviously input your snow as the male |

if you go for a snow, you will only get snow babies. If you want a bit of a mixture, have a look for these for chances of the following babies:
normal het amel - normal, amel normal het anery - normal, anery normal het amel anery - normal, amel, anery, snow amel het anery - amel, snow anery het amel - anery, snow ultramel - amel, ultramel ultramel het anery - amel, ultramel, snow, ultramel anery ultra - ultramel ultra het anery - ultramel, ultramel anery

i thought Ultra was a recessive? surely the snow would have to be het for Ultra for this to happen? |
