Day 55, we started seeing these guys poke their little noses out and last night the first one was completely out (which is the little Amber in the photo), you can see the nose of a Hypo Butter by his tail who hadn't decided to make the venture into the big world yet! As of this morning he's out too, so I'll try and get some more photos of him later on today! Our first Hypo Butter!
I also put a quarter, er... 10p coin next to the eggs so you can see how gigantic these killer-smack-mommy eggs really are. Can't wait to see what comes out of the others!

It's funny because you look at the little snake thinking "oh my god, how tiny is that!!" but then you look at the egg it hatched out of (this little Amber and the Hypo Butter you see poking his nose out both hatched from "normal" sized eggs not the andre the giant ones) and you can't figure out how they ever fit inside there! |
