i usually use aspen but my pet store did not have any in so i had to buy beech chips insted it said that they were ok for larger snakes yet it had a baby corn and a ball python on the front? anyway will it be okay to use for my baby corn or should i just use kitchen roll until i get more aspen??

i shouldnt think the beech chips will be a prob as long as your feeding outside the viv or putting down kitchen roll or something. Babys tend to prefer aspen as they can burrow in it but i can't see it causing an issue.

Hey I use beach chips and snakey is fine he burrows a lot and I put kitchen roll in when feeding him and he's fine. Put the mouse on a bit of kitchen roll in a hide and leave him alone. 10 mins later take out the kitchen roll. Beach chips are fine no problem :)
