Can you let me know if you think it is a good idea to keep corn snakes in my tropical fish house (ambient temp about 75F), in unheated RUBS. Also what is a good make of RUB to use and where can you get them?
Thanks
Rich

You have to be joking right? How were you going to heat them? They need a hot and cool end.

A very special super, duper thanks for K :3

You can get rubs online, from staples etc etc... you can also get supermarket brands alot cheaper too. You need the rubs heated.

Thanks, heating them is not a problem, I just mentioned unheated because of the constant ambient temp in the fish house. Would this mean there is the potential for over heating? Obviously I can fit thermostats. This is just an idea, not something I am necessarily going to push ahead with.

Wouldn't the humidity levels get too high which could cause respiratory problems

the general humidity is likely to be too high for corns, and the cool end prolly won't be cool enough

might suit a different species though?

Thanks for your replies, it sounds like it will not be worth the risk or hastle. I have another inside space that I can modify to accommodate them that can be controlled more easily in terms of temp and it will not be humid. My current corn snake is going to be sexed this weekend, and then I may look for a mate to quarantine with a view to breeding at an appropriate time, so I am considering the housing options, and space to expand into if there are young.
What species may be appropriate for a warm, humid fish house? Just interested.
Many thanks for answering my questions
