Hi Anybody knownif there is a safe soap type solution that could be used to "wash" a snake ? I'm not talking about a bath foam Haha. Just I'm getting a new female on friday and her current home is a wee bit grimy. Would a very dilute viv disinfectant do it ? Thanks |

wouldn't risk it personally, i'd use well-diluted washing up liquid if it was really neccessary but tbh it prolly won't be |

You shouldnt need to wash it i dont think! Even just use warm water. The waterline should be give or take just half way up the snakes body if you plan on bathing. |

Someone will have to invent 'Head and ... where's the shoulders?'.
If the snake smells (which is unusual unless they musk then they hum) just allow it to run through a damp piece of kitchen roll a few times and then a dry piece but really they aren't a mucky animal unless the mouse they are constricting bursts so I'd just give it a week to settle in and go from there. |
