It is a fab idea. Would be too big for my wee boy just now, but think I will be stealing the idea also when he gets bigger.

That looks good - is it on a snake hammock? Read about themm but not actually seen one before. How is the hammock attached to the viv and how does the snake get up there? Oh yes and where did you source the basket?

I never thought about popping it on the hammock! I'd been sitting and wondering how/where to suspend my grass hide from! xD Good one though!

andyj: They are very awesome, my little Claude loves climbing up and obsering his realm from his. :] The stick onto the sides of the viv with three suction pads, one at each corner, and they can use the edge of the viv to get up onto them, I have mine about halfway up Claudes viv.

It is on a reptile hammock, I got mine online via the bay of E, and the grass ball was a steal at Pets at Home (£2.89).

I fixed the hammock to the vivarium using the age old technique of screws. And to stop the hammock mesh slipping off the sucker bits I just used hot glue.
