Is it just cresties that are ok without a heat mat, or is there any more?

Think danny is right
Cresties will need to be heated in the winter if the housing drops below mid 60f
I know mine will at night in The winter

Most, if not all rhac species are good without heating for the most part
Gargs and cresties are the most common ones though - the others are hard to find and probably cost a bomb!
