after many hours researching and my daughters bugging me for a snake i've finally took the plunge, i decided on a corn snake due to their ease of keeping and their temperament, i have purchased not only 1 snake but 4 caroline corn snakes, 9mt old female, 11mt old male and 3yr old male and female, and also purchased 2 vivariums and after research all the equipment needed to run them. looking forward to learning from you guys on here.

hi, yeah i should of been a bit clearer on the vivs, viv 1 is (lxwxh)4ft x 2ft x 20" and is divided into 2 sections, viv no.2 is (lxwxh)2.5ft x 2.5ft x 6ft and is 3 sections, also got 4 large plastic vivs for temporary housing, hatchlings etc. i have done plenty of research and will be keeping the males & females separate, only introducing the oldest female to a mate during mating season. i picked 2 of the corn snakes up yesterday and placed a mouse in their vivs as was advised they ate every friday but so far they have not touched them, gonna remove them in a bit and try again in a few days when they settled in more.

I have always had pets of some description, and i'm not talking common cat and dog's,lol. my first love was marine fish and successfully kept them for 10 years before getting divorced and giving up the hobby as my 6ft aquarium wouldn't fit in my new place, so sold it on. then their's my 2 macaw's, unfortunatly lost them to my ex wife in the divorce battle, always wanted a snake but to be honest thought they were a lot more expensive then they are, when i picked the 2 up yesterday the guy has another one that i can take for free as he confiscated it from his daughters house after her friend decided to poke it with a stick whilst drunk so has started biting, needs a little tlc and handling.
