Hi guys, I'm sure this will have been covered somewhere before, but I thought I'd ask anyways :)
Can I run two heatmats from one stat? If so, how? Extension cable? |

Yes you can, a multiplug type thing is best, just plug the mats into the extension and the extension into the stat. One thing to consdier though is only 1 mat i been monitored, if one of the other mas goes faulty the stat won't have a clue about it. |

Ahhh, so its possible, but I'd just need to keep a keen eye on both mats just to monitor them by touch as it were? I might just bite the bullet and buy separate stats. Don't want any chilly or deep fried snakes!
Thanks for the quick response :) |

Put Digital thermometers on both, cheaper than buying another thermostat and you have a definate reading then. |

I tried using a plus stat with multiple mats and could never get it to work, one was too cold and the other too hot, I know others have had success though. |
A very special super, duper thanks for K :3 |

You'd have to have exactly the smae size mat and in my opinion the same manufacturer to get mats to perform in a similar way. |

Yep , that's the way I do it , I have 6 strip mats all the same and 4 heatmats the same , each are doubled up on a stat and work perfectly each using a multiplug .
I then have digi thermometers rigged up on one rub per shelf , built into the rub itself for easy moving around , then you have one stat probe per 2 mats on the outside , then if anything does go wrong with one mat , my digi probe will catch it .

One last jump , that's all we have to take Holth . Wearily the old queen gathered heself to spring ; Moreta gratefully began her litany . Black , blacker , blackest - They went between . |
