The hatchling is fully out of the egg but there is a thick looking goo in the slit and a pinkish string still attached to its cloaca.
The lower, buried eggs haven't started hatching yet.
Advice please! |

| leave it alone in the incubator for a day, it's the yolk sac and associated bits n bobs, might also be a sign it wasn't quite cooked yet |

In Kathy n bills book it says to put the snake in a cup with a little water in the bottom, so shall I keep it wet? |

| yeah if you keep it in the incubator the humidity will keep it damp and as it moves around it should gently dislodge it, i'd reassess in 12-24 hours |

Will it break at the cloaca or will it arbsorb it?
There looks to be a lot, but the pinkish tube is almost white now... |
