Well after just 6 weeks of being a snake owner. I have officially become a member of the club.I've been bitten by my 7 month old lavender motley corn snake (Pearl). Its true what I heard before. It feels like the rough side of Velcro! |

xD Congrats (I think!?)~ Is it like riding a horse? You aren't a real rider unless you've fallen off or something? :B |

I got bit the first time last week, it was over before my brain had time to really register what happened. It itched for 10 minutes afterwards rather than hurt. I was lifting him from his feeding tank to his viv and maybe he was still hungry :), he a very placid snake normally :) |

I've had a couple of attempted bites from my kingsnake (i've moved just in time and got scraged lol) - he's a moody bugger at times. He's full on latched onto my boyfriend loads though. Apparently it doesn't hurt, just a sort of little sting.
Never been bitten my corn, she's a gentle giant though ... saying that, only had her a week and a half lol.
And my hognose was just soppy tame :)
Happily say I haven't been full on bitten :D ... yet lol. By a snake anyway, by beardie's given me a good nip before (when I got her she was very ill, stressed out etc, had a broken leg and whatnot. She needed medication orally and she loaaaaathed it).
But ... welcome to the club ;) I'm sure i'll be in it soon with the way my king is
And yeah - pics next time! :D |
