Well I've been peeking on here a few times recently so thought I may as well join up, gives me an opportunity to show off my corns somewhere else as well
So, I'm Amanda, I'm 22, live in Surrey, been keeping corns since July last year so not that long, but we all know it doesn't take long for the addiction to kick in!
My first corn was a shop bought male ghost motley called Diego, and he is the soppiest corn in the world, friendly as anything and always comes over to say hi when I open his tub, I love him! He was about 70g when I first got him, and he's now over 300g, so he's grown pretty well :)
My next two I bought shortly after Diego, two females, a bloodred (Akiko) and a granite (Kimiko), I got them from the lovely Nigel (cornmorphs over on other forums, I imagine he's on here too under the same name?)
About a month later came Duende the hypo lavender and Tambo the anery caramel motley, again both from Nigel, and both males.
Then next month there's more! I won a little fun competition over on another forum, where I guessed the most morphs correctly from some photos, and I won myself an 09 male amel stripe! And then when I went to collect him, I was given an 09 female normal too! What a bonus! I called them Dougal and Kumara :)
October came, and I got myself a lovely little plasma from Pete Q at Portsmouth show, and called him Haribo as he's such a sweetie!
So guess what, November arrives, and what do I get? That's right, two more! A female anery lavender (Topaz) and her brother (Simba) a fiesty little lavender with a kink, so he'll be a pet in a forever home.
A few more months go by, I don't buy any more snakes (amazing!) and the February arrives and I get given a pair of 07s, a male opal and a female plasma, all for Valentines Day! Best Valentines Day ever! :D
I shall post pictures of them all in the photo section, so anyone interested can have a gander. Sorry for the life story, just thought it'd be a bit more interesting than the standard 'Hi I'm new'
Looking forward to chatting to you all!

Haha thanks, Louise!! That's an impressive build up of snakes in 6 months, you put me to shame!! I must catch up I've already got a platinum on the way (the little female that Adsclarke posted on his Powders and Platinums thread the other day) :D and a little male normal from Nigel when it hatches, so I should hopefully be picking him up at Kempton show.
Hi Mort, thanks for the welcome! And yeah I hate corns, horrible, nasty little things I shan't tell Poppy I forgot her, she'll hate me!

I'm sure you will have more than me soon then! I have said that 21 is my limit but it looks like there may be a few more on the way soon!

I hope to breed a few of mine next year to so no doubt there will be a few holdbacks lol

Adsclarke's platinums are gorgeous, congrats on the one on the way.

21 definitely won't be the limit, it'll be impossible to have a limit haha, there's always room for one more! It'll be soooo hard to not buy any at the shows and stuff, hence why I've accidentally ended up with this platinum ;) Fortunately I have a wardrobe which has been converted into a rack, so there's plenty of room for newbies, however it's when they grow that I'll have a problem, you can only fit so many animals in a one bedroom flat, and so far I have over 30 animals + 25 or so eggs I think it's time to move!

Just wondering where abouts in Surrey you are? I'm always looking for breeders in the area.

Maybe you could drop me an email?
