Merope is still quite viv/tub defensive. It's all bluff but I can't help thinking this might be a problem when she's fully grown lol

Hopefully she will grow out of it and chill!

Mind is changing on snakes I want now lol so am researching these to find out what would be best - Milk Snakes and Dwarf Boa possibly - Crawl Cay, Sonoran, Tarahumara or Vera Cruz and poss a Hoggie, African House and Rat snake. Also Trinket Snakes.

Haha, I've actually never seen a boa hiss before! I get hissed at by our hoggie all the time (well, duh...) and some of our boas have struck out at my husband... funny thing is right after they do I walk in and life's all good for them. They just hate my husband!

That is so cute! (Won't say that when she is bigger but for now its OK). I love how they are all vocal when you pick them up then its as if they go 'oh ok is this it, sorry about all the noise'.

It's funny the 2 hypos are so chilled out and have never hissed or complained evern when both were blue. This lady is just a grump! Still love her though :D
