Hey just wanted to find out...

Why snakes some times soak themselves in their bowls...??



1 corn snake: Kchalice-Serendipity
2 dogs: Kane and chester
1 C0ckatill: Rolo
1 gold fish: chips
2 Cats : Max and Jess

Location : Folkestone, Kent

I think usually because they may be too hot, or maybe trying to loosen up some skin for a shed maybe :)

Can also be a sign of mites.

I know my boas that had mites would often be found in their water bowls. Infact the mites could be sen in the bowl afterwards.

As above it can also be a sign they are going into shed. Or they just want to take a dip!

Oh okies,

He hardly ever does, and he only shed a little, the temp was 26 ish as the thermostat just turned back on..

He wasnt all in it just one little bit :) so was just wondering :) think he must have just be taking a dip :)
