Trying to get some professional pics of my snakes for my photography project, of just a plain black background..
How would you do it? I was thinking get a cardboard box with one end cut off, so theres 3 flaps and put a bit of black board on the bottom, with some props (logs, etc..)
I cheat if I want a black or near dark background. My camera when set to 'auto' with a focal point about 15-20 cms away it always blasts the focal area with light and unless it's close in the background it will go black.
Professional Photos - tips?
