hi and welcome to the forum

Bearing in mind what dogs lick, pretty much everything, I wouldn't be letting my dog lick my any of my snakes.

hey and welcome
I honestly wouldn't recommend it - like G said dogs lick everything and you don't want them passing anything nasty onto your snake

Also, the dog could be at risk of picking up salmonela from the dog. However I have licked my snake (I was curious :S ) and nothing happenned, I'd say if you were worried then stop, but I'm sure that we all do things that are not strictly for the best sometimes :S

Lmao at Zan! U licked ur snake!, Thanks for the welcome! My dog is a serious sook, and loves to lick, i will stop her, but in general if the snake grows up with her, will the snake be fine when he is fully grown? I know no one can predict what an animal will do, but if possible i like my pets to get along.(the dogs get on with the cat and ferret, so would like 1 dog to get on well with snake!

I wont let my dogs near my snakes, for many reasons.
Firstly both the animals regardless of how well you know them or train them can decide to not like something and the risk of snake having a wee nip at the dog and the dog retaliating with somewhat bigger teeth is something I wouldn't recommend either.
