my mum has a set of scales, that she used for weighing her luggage for when she went to egypt,

i was wondering if it would be ok if i used them to weigh Chihiro when i get her, obviously putting her in a tub first, would this be ok?

thankyou :)

it would be ok, though i'm not sure how accurate they are, or if the increments are too big to be accurate?

our scales at work weight in 0.2kg/200g increments - fine for my boas, not so good for anything smaller!!

i just weigh mine a few times a year but mine are mainly adults, and the juvies, as long as they look like they're growing on well i'm not too fussed about monitoring their weight
BUT it is a good thing to do on a monthly basis if you have the time

oh, and the best time to weigh them is after a poop and before the next feed so you get a more accurate 'empty' weight

I use digital kitchen scales to weigh mine. Usually do it at least once a month. Sometimes more often depending on if I'm feeding in their feeding tubs or in viv.

Argos do value digital scales for 6 or 7 quid if you're interested. I tend to do weights and measures after each shed at next feed.

Corns: 1.1 Anery, 1.1 Butter, 1.0 Carolina, 0.1 Hypo, 1.1 Snow, 1.0 Sunkissed
Boas: 0.1 Arabesque, 1.0 Brazilian Rainbow, 0.1 Crawl Cay, 1.1 Hogg Island X, 0.1 Hypo Hogg, 0.1 Kahl Albino (poss coral)
