Thanks all, checked on the male last night and he is definitely deeply in shed now, so can't wait to see how he turns out in a week or so!! He seemed much calmer and even let me move him slightly to put in a moist hide for him, so it does seem his attitude was all down to the stress of moving.

The female is a total softy, and seems to just lie on her branches all day long watching the world go by.
