So hard to take pictures of a black snake, either not enough light and all you see is a fuzzy black mass or the reflect the light like crazy!

Woo superb pics.
Do you ever get paranoid that he's gonna make a run for it (so to speak) when in the yard?
I know when I bring mine out they can move fast if they want to.

Surely the serpent will bite without enchantment; and a babbler is no better.

This was his first ever time out, he's a very calm snake and he has never once gone all zoomy when handling him. I was never far away from him, I could easily grab him if he did want to slither off lol in fact, when I saw trying to get a bit further back to take pictures, he kept slithering towards me!
