I wish I could have had Rubs but there's no way I could fit them into my bedroom stacked so had to get vivs, Rubs are far too wide once the get past 2ft long it seems D: Plus if I ever get bigger snake, I can use the vivs for them since Rubs don't seem to be too massive in length. Also means that one day I can get a beardy or bts one day or something ^^

I'm using a corner in my living room for my snakes and dont plan on huge massive snakes

Dakota ~ Bloodred Corn ~ Amber & Chloe ~ Cats
Mind is changing on snakes I want now lol so am researching these to find out what would be best - Milk Snakes and Dwarf Boa possibly - Crawl Cay, Sonoran, Tarahumara or Vera Cruz and poss a Hoggie, African House and Rat snake. Also Trinket Snakes.

I am about to buy one of these from Amazon (£61 inc) but I was wondering if there is a gap for a heat mat underneath and if not will the heat get through if placed under the viv?

With wooden vivs the mat goes inside played on bottom.

Thank you, does that mean the cable has to run down the side? Would a heat bulb be better with this Viv?

I just drill a small hole at the bottom where there mat will go an put mat wire an probe through there

If u are getting a vivexotic, checkout seapets or swell reptiles - will probably be much cheaper ;)

I have a vivexotic VX36 i think theyre great, when it arrived flat packed i did kinda freaks out as i own no tools but managed to get it put togather really easy with a pen knife! Theyre pretty easy to construct :)
