these are the only corns we've paired up this season due to down-sizing our breeders and wanting to rest the only other breeding size female (miami) we currently have

i wasn't sure this pairing would work out as the male is a bit teeny-tiny but it seems he's done the business eggs being laid as i type
will keep you all posted

mum (Asha) post-laying. as you can see she's cleared the moss/aspen mix right over to one side of the lay box so i needed to move the eggs fairly soon to prevent them drying out. the slug is quite obvious, to the bottom left of the clutch

clutch in damp vermiculite before going in the bator and being covered with sphagnum moss

as the slug is quite firmly attached to the rest of the clutch i'll just leave it where it is rather than risk damaging the eggs its attached to.

just got to sit and wait now *sulks *
why can't they hatch tomorrow???

and thanks for all the nice comments folks

It amazes me that all those eggs could be in one little corn!

Keep an eye on the slug GP, if it starts to go mouldy, do what you can to get it away, dont want it affecting the good eggs.

Awwww poor girlie, it does look like it has taken it out of her. It's amazing how all those eggs can come out of one little snakie. Nice looking eggs tho apart from that one slug.
