This was taken Sunday Grace feeding on a Medium Rat, a rather large meal, she did have some trouble getting the front legs in as they were pointing up, but she got it down with no real drama..






Patch didn't take his, he had a grab, but was more interested in getting a lock on Grace.. which he did more or less as soon as they were both back in the viv..

Thanks, they both play it up for the camera, not at all shy, I got some more today of them enjoying chicks for Sunday lunch, patch mainly as i was watching him closely to make sure he ate this week, which he did.. |

Indeed you can see "Winkie" I was surprised to see them mating let alone get a picture of it so close and detailed... It's not shocking, it's the most natural thing in the world ;) and I'm honoured they let me witness.. |

It was a big old rat,91g (Frozen) not sure of the defrosted weight!, but I was sure she wouldn't be able to take it, but apart from the front legs sticking up, she got it down no problems, i gave her a smaller meal this week of a slightly smaller chick. |
