Hi, pleased to let you all know Orlando has reappeared after having escaped in Feb. Much to my relief as I am absolutely petrified of it at least now I know where it is! HE has been back a week is now 8 months old has grown loads though I dont no what he`s been living on? MY hubby and son have fed him 2 pinkies already which he has devoured and now are not sure what to do. When should he move to something bigger/ HOW OFTEN? This is their first corn and obviously hasn`t gone exactly to plan as it escaped! Also for my peace of mind what is best to keep it in and is ther anything lockable? Thanks ,Kerry |

If he has grown loads during his time away he may have found some rodent lodgers to munch on. It might be an idea to get a sample of poop tested just to make sure he hasn't picked up any internal parasites.
I would feed him a mouse that is 1.5 times thicker than your snake at your snakes thickest point. Every 7 days is fine but if your using up smaller mice bump it upto every 5 days until they are used up, waste not want not and all that. |

Glad the escapee has returned! You can get viv locks for adult snakes vivariums. Depending on how big he is now he might be able to go into a viv. |
