So i fed Otis for the first time 4 days ago :) He had a wonderful strike! took about 5 mins to figure out how he was going to get the mousy down, but he did well :D I woke up this morning to a huge poopy in his water dish :p i cleaned it out with a mild bleach solution and rinsed it out very well. Im curious if, because i he pooped in the dish, he may avoid drinking from the dish. should i move it just to be sure? or are snakes not to fussy about were they poop/eat drink ? |

Clean it, put it back job done! They would drink from it with a poo in it if they was thirsty. |

where is the water bowl within the viv? try to avoid putting it against the viv wall, place it more centrally, then as they cruise round their enclosure they'll prolly cr4p on the substrate instead
(btw this isn't guaranteed to work, some are just mucky b*ggers lol) |

i actually dont mind him pooping in there. stops the substrate from absorbing the muck and holding on to odours. Easy quick clean and his bum gets a cleaning at that ;) |
