my OH wants an ackie but is put off by the monthly feeding bill!! what's yours like for the pair of boscs? (on an average month without steak lol)

cornsnakes, ratsnakes, bullsnakes, boas and day geckos

Unfortunately i'm not sure on the food bill for just the boscs since i get the food for the snakies and other lizards all at the same time!
I'd guess about £30 a month for lots of rats and bugs for them

that's not bad! i think daz worked out an ackie would be about £50/month to feed but won't get to half the size of a bosc!

They are so amazing. I always loved dinosaurs as a kid and these really are so prehistoric looking.

I have to admit that I don't know anything about them. Off to do a bit of googling now.

Great pics. They are stunning :D

They are gorgeous, I really do like boscs and will eventually get one when I leave home lol
The food bill can be bad but it is easy to set up a breeding thing with locusts and other insects and then grow plants for them as well, then all you have to buy is meat

Can't help but think of the bit in Jurassic Park,where the T-Rex eats the bloke on the loo,when I look at the 3rd pic of Max. Fantastic.
