ok so it has been 6 weeks plus since my pair were together and less than a week ago my female went through her pre-lay shed, but as i checked the nest box this morning it seems she is blue again! has this happened to anybody else?

just to update i looked in the egg box last night and saw three small eggs in the corner. this is before she shed for the second time and now this morning it appears that she has only laid one more and there is still more to go. is the fact she's in shed obstructing her laying and how long is it until i should seek professional help.

i'd just let nature run it's course over the weekend, try not to disturb her

is your laying box a decent size, damp and warm?
