what happens to the temp of the heat mat if my snake wriggles around to clear the aspen off the mat so she can get a better warm. I have it set to about 28 (digital thermometer on the) she seams to have pushed the mat stat probe off the mat.

I never tested for this before i put it in with her i just made sure it was an even steady temp before putting it in. She is quite new with me so im trying to avoid messing with her for a week or so but shes on the mat an the probe aint anymore.

Should i disturbe her an put the probe back on or will she be ok just leaving it?

If the thermostat probe moves away from the heat mat its about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Your mat won't be controlled and will get VERY hot. You need to fix your probe to the mat, I used a glue gun to fix mine but you can also use aquarium sealant.

Absolutely disturb her and fix your probe.
