Luna, definitely looks like she is going to shed soon, she has gone very pale and dull in colour and her eyes are beginning to cloud over. Should i put anything extra into the viv to help her out. make it more humid or anything like that. I am going to offer her food in a minute, but from what I have read she is likely to refuse so will prepare myself for that...

I don't offer any of mine a moist hide and they all shed great.

Most of mine still eat when blue too.

thanks, yep she has just devoured her dinner so will just wait and see what happens over the next week. Is it correct that she will go back to normal and her eyes will clear before she actually sheds??

well i woke this morning to find Luna had shed, she had retained some on the tip of her tail, so after reading on here i got some damp kitchen roll and let her slide through that whilst applying a little pressure and just like a pair of tights it slid away nicely... i have a lovely shiny snake :-( will give her a fuss and weigh her this eveing ready for her feed in the morning. She also left me a nice desposit in the viv which is her first since going onto fuzzie's 3 weeks ago...

As she retained some shed this time you could add a damp hide to her housing when she sheds next time. Just put a bit of damp sphagnum moss in a hide once her eyes go really cloudy and put a water bowl in the warm end. With a bit of luck it will help her and she won't retain anything next time!
