Today, a week after my birthday and 366 days after I got my first snake, I picked up my first Bci, a female, named Shikari! She is gorgeous!

Quick question to all you boa keepers, she is in a rub, with a heatmat and thermostat on bark substrate to keep it humid. I'm seeing a lot of moisture forming on the lid of the rub, this si normal due to humidity, right?

as per gmac's response, they don't need extra humidity, if you have a lot of orchid bark though you could always bake it to dry it out so it doesn't go to waste....and tbh baking it is best as orchid bark in particular can harbour nasties!

Very nice, agreed with G and GP, no added humidity.
From a couple of saddles, theres potential for a bit of bcc in there too.
