Hi there,
I'm new on here and I'm looking for advice/hints/do's and don't's etc in order to care for my corn snake. I want to get a corn and I am doing my research and finding out what I need in order to care properly. I've never kept a snake before so I want to make sure I do it all correctly.

So, if I could gets lots of advice on here then that would be great.

Dakota ~ Bloodred Corn ~ Amber & Chloe ~ Cats
Mind is changing on snakes I want now lol so am researching these to find out what would be best - Milk Snakes and Dwarf Boa possibly - Crawl Cay, Sonoran, Tarahumara or Vera Cruz and poss a Hoggie, African House and Rat snake. Also Trinket Snakes.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

It's great to see someone doing some research before getting their corn.

The care sheet that gmac linked to is a great place to start, and the search feature on the forum is a fantastic tool to find immediate answers to most questions you might have.

I'm new to corn snakes as well and have found this forum invaluable. Everyone here really friendly and happy to give advice and answer any questions.

Good luck and I'll look forward to seeing pics of your new corn when you get it.

Hi Ailsa welcome to the forum. It's great to see someone doing research before getting their new addition. This site is fabulous for finding out info although some of it can be confusing and seem contradictory sometimes. There is not always a hard and fast rule to follow but you will find out what methods suit you best and are best for your snake. Anything you are not sure about just ask away, there are usually people around who can help
