yesterday my mum called me into my room (after hearing my mum, from upstairs, basicly had a go at my snake lol!) to find milo in my wardrobe!

He seemed happy enought to be scooped up and put back into his viv, where i discovered how he escaped.
It turns out he managed to (somehow!?) figure out to open his viv, by climbing up the slide of the glass and slithering across the glass ( hes been doing it all week and i thought nothing of it)
and when the glass had nugged a bit and had smallest gap, he would nussled that gap open and slithered through! we couldn't belive it !! clever snakie

so now i have to buy a lock (which i should have done in the first place)
and while he was out i decided to measure him and his new size is just under 5ft! (how could the pet shop guy say he was 4ft!! he was clearly bigger but i took his word for it)

what a exciting night! lol

Crafty little tinker him! Bet he was looking really pleased with himself. Hope your mum has recovered!
I use rubber wedges on Loki and Falcors viv. They aren't really strong enough to open the doors yet but I thought I'd get in the habit as I can see Falcor trying his luck when he's bigger lol.

I always make sure I have Alices rubber wedge in his viv doors at the moment. Before it wasn't really an issue but lately his favourite pasttime is clambering all over the glass. He is trying his hardest to find a ladyfriend lol

They're not daft these little crafty buggers. I have watched Spot working out how the doors work too, it didn't take him long to get the door to move and he is only a titchy boy at the moment. I've had locks fitted to my doors almost from day 1, and wedged to close the gap between the glass too.

I'm glad he didn't go very far and that your Mum didn't jump too high when she found him.
