I have for sale a huge male rat snake when stretched out he is around 6 foot. We bought him a few weeks back from a pic online then had him delivered by courier but sadly he is far to big for us.
We have had him looked at and every one has said they think he is carrying something it might be corn or something along those lines. We bought him with the understanding he can be grumpy as rat snakes can but so far we have had no problems with him.
He is an adult and ready to breed, he will musk on you when handling him, he is in blue at the minute so will be shedding in days so will be ready and rearing to go with a female, I had bought him to go to my red backed rat but he would kill her he is far to big.
I need this boy gone asap and it will be a very sad sale as he is a lovely boy £40 ovno would make a fab breeding project to try and prove out what he is carrying
Buyer to collect from york and bring own rub, snake bag or big pillow case.
I can email pics on request

Surely if there arn't many about they would sell for more than a corn, especially in a pet shop.

i think the same thing but coz u dont get all the special mutations and genetics in rat snakes like you do corns, sadly the rat snakes are rare coz they dont sell for plenty of ££££ like all the special corn snakes do. thats just how it is

I knew he was around 6 foot that wasn't really a problem as one of my corns is almost 6 foot but from the picture I received he was alot slimmer than he is in person.

The snake has now sold he will be going to his new home in wales next weekend
