I got him Saturday, he's 15" and 11g. He's still only 4 months. Girl at reptile place said he's fed once a week on 2-3 pinkies???? Surely that's too much isn't it? She also told me he's a shy feeder and won't strike, but he did! I've fed him today on just the 1 pinkie and he is left with a good belly, as picture shows. He's now incredibly active! Do you think he needs more than the 1? Thanks in advance

Is that belly just from one pinkie???
Personally I would only feed him one pinkie a week and keep an eye on his weight and see how he goes and maybe move him up to 2.
I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination but I'm pretty sure 3 a week would be way to much for him. But like i said this is just my opinion, others may say differently.

Yeah just one made him that fat!!! I really think 2-3 was too much but just wanted some more opinions as I don't wanna make him fat or regurge!

Looks like its left quite a good sized bulge in his belly to me. I'd be inclined to leave it at just the one for a while longer.
Ps. he really is a stunner.

Thank you I think he is too

I thought he looked well fed just was worried if he's used to 2-3 1 wouldn't be enough. Do you think I should stick with 1 every 7 days as he was in shop or go every 5-6?

Its entirely up to you,it won't do him any harm whether its every 5,6 or 7 days.
Could be worth upping him to every 6 and then 5 days before you get him onto doubles. Everyone has their own method really so its what works best for you and your snake.

My snake is almost 7 months old and he is on 2 pinkies a week and he has been on them for about 6 weeks now and he seems totally happy on that and when I took him to be sexed I just double checked with the woman and she said that was perfect for his size but I know he wouldn't be ready for fuzzies yet.

Yeah, think 1 will do him for bit longer he's still little. Dread to think how fat he would have got if I'd left him at the shop!!
