Well i took the advice of others to put something into nekkos tank to get him used to me. I cant believe how much it worked. Yest was the first time i picked him up without him trying to scurry off but today was better, wen i went in for him he went straight up my arm ALL BY HIMSELF, i was gobsmacked.
Really grateful for the advice.

getting him used to other people just takes time. you COULD do the same but in the end his viv would look like a laundry basket! :) it worked for me too and i had my doubts...definitely a believer now! :) grats to you and well done nekko!

Haha, no im not that cruel. I love him so couldnt torture him with smelly socks. I just cut a square out of an old top, left it tucked into my clothes and put it in.
I would sware by this piece of advice and will deffinatly tell others.

I'm going to have to try this with Loki as he's still quite nervous.
Told my son if he stops biting his nails I'll put one of his odd gloves in Lokis viv so he knows his smell the best.
Bit of a strange reward for a child I know, but he loves the idea lol!
