my local rep store (exotic pet centre in maidstone) has just rescued a few snakes and amongst them was one i absolutely fell in love with...a 7-8ft, 5 year old female carpet python! i couldnt resist her and Anne at the pet shop gave her to me at an absolute bargain as she needs a bit of TLC and ive been trusted to provide it! i cant collect her till the end of the month as im gunna need to rearrange the vivs (and my living room and bedroom) to offer the beautiful big lass the good life she deserves! well chuffed!
nb i will be appealing for any eqpt related help in the classifieds section, ill explain more there! |

Look forward to seeing pics mate. What size viv are you gonna need for an 8 foot carpet?
And do you know what kind of carpe python he is? I think aJungle Carpet is the next snake for me!

picked her up today! she is beautiful and awesome! 8ft was probably a bit of an over estimation. in "person" i estimate she is 6-7 at most.
She is in a 4x2x2 viv, ive kept it kinda minimalist. she is sitting in at the minute with some of my socks lol! when i was getting her out of travel box this morn and saw the size of her gob i thought " im gunna take some precautions before i go picking you up missy!". Beautiful animal though. my missus bought two baby beardies at the same time! :) |
