Hi I don't want to put the fear of god up you but did you read his full post??? one of his boas passed away with I.B.D if I were you I wouldn't even go near the house never mind buy a snake from him I know he said he has had them in quarantine but there's always a risk he hasn't washed his hands properly or changed his clothes etc as its that easy to pass on so you could loose your full collection as corns don't show it like say royal pythons etc....all I'm saying is be very careful and good luck....and by the way in my opinion they look like banded normals with het blood.
Of course I read the full post, and I am fully aware the seller had IBD in their collection- 2 years ago. I remember reading the thread they wrote when it was first diagnosed. Since then the seller has not bought or sold any animals, plus they have had various randomly selected animals confirmed clear of the disease. The case is believed to have been restricted to the one Corn island boa that died.
They have assured me that these corns have been hatched and raised quarantined from all other snakes.
It is a risk to buy snakes from any seller, as nasties are always a possibility, but I have complete faith in the seller that they have done everything in their power to contain the reported IBD case and carry out strict hygiene methods for the past 2 years.
The snakes will be quarantined totally separately from the rest of my collection- as all new arrivals are. However, these will be undergoing a minimum of 6 months quarantine rather than 3.
Corns also cannot contract the disease, only carry it, unlike pythons and boids- so I cannot lose my whole collection, only 3 if the worst were to happen. Which is highly unlikely.

Just got back from picking the new additions up, they are gorgeous and I am VERY pleased. Seller was also lovely, had a fab chat and a coffee with her, just not enough time before she had to leave No pics yet though I'm afraid, the camera had run away. |

Both have pretty red bellies actually but the female more so, as well as nice banding and a very clean pattern. Hopefully getting a new card later for the other camera so will try and post pics up asap. |
