Baby Sylvester had his first shed, the whole skin came off intact, other than a hole at one end. I am totally besotted with him and proud,so very proud Is it gross to keep the skin in a box as a keepsake?

I have several snake sheds kicking about.
Nothing wrong with keeping them, they do become a bit more fragile as they dry but that's it.
At the moment I've got one on top of a rub, a couple on top of my stack, about half dozen in a drawer and I did find one on the floor last night behind my chair.

I think Sika laminates hers as well.

I keep all mine too! I put them in clean plastic take away tubs and write the date of the shed on it,also how long the skin is is well, good way to keep a record of sheds and you can see how much they have grown.

I stick all mine in scrap books. I have a scrap book for each snake. It's amazing to see how much they have grown
