i getting a BIGGGG fish tank!

random impulsive buy... oops! :)
only went to buy a new conditioner thing for the filter in my little tank after randomly buying some new fish! then ended up getting a new sponge for the filter, new plant and some juwel stones too! then... ooh ill have a look at the tanks while im here, big mistake, they had some on offer! bargin! so told the boyfriend about it when i got home n we went back to have a look!
the shop didnt have the bottom we wanted in black (only beech) so they said we might be able to order one off there site on the internet.. we looked, they had some, we thought about it, it was money we could have done without spending :(
BUT... i searched for the make and model and came across another site that had the same 1 for nearly £100 less!!! WOOO!
HAD TO GET IT!!! it also comes with lots of freebies too, fish net gravel, backing paper n other stuff!

so thanks seapets.co.uk!
cant wait to get my new tank, its guna be so much harder to look after than my small one but iv done some reasearch n swatting up, should be fun!!

had to share my excitement... my troical fish hobby jst got bigger!!

Wow, that's good! What sort of tropicals will you put in it? Will you go for a specialist tank or community? Do post some photos when it's all set-up, matured and has occupants!

Rummy-nosed tetras are quite pretty. They're peaceful little fish. If you've got barbs it's best not to go with any fish that have flowing, easy to nip, tails! The golden barbs are gorgeous.

yeah i like the rummy nosed tetras but i dont have much colour in the tank, they are all mostly silvery with a dash of colour, i need somthing brighter!
oooh that sounds interesting!!

gutted iv just found white spot in my tank yesterday..... must be the new arrivals! not had a problem in 4yrs then this!! i could have done without sick fish just before i get a new tank!
started treatment today tho! hopefully all should be well again soon, just means i might have to get some new fish to start my tank off with and leave these lot in quarentine for a while!
