Medusa is still hiding in her hides constantly, I haven't seen her come out though she may have during the early hours of the morning? She may be in shed as she is due one but I haven't seen her eyes go 'blue' or her colourings go 'milky' but she's really grumpy and just sits her in hides looking out of the faun watching people walk past or just being nosey waah can anyone shed any light on this?
thankyou |

It sounds like she maybe going to shed. My 4 1/2 month old ate last friday and between then and wednesday went blue and shed without me even realising he was going into shed and he is an anery so easy to tell. I think hiding is maybe something they do this time of year all mine are hiding in the cool end and not eating regualrly either. |

Yeah, she ate normally on sunday and is usually whizzing round her tank by the monday evening and she hasn't. I just lifted her log thing she hides under in the cool end and she attempted to bite me and rattled her tail a bit so i'm hoping her grumpyness is a sign of shed thanks for the help |

Egon's done nothing but hide most of this week. He had his first feed on sunday, so expected him to curl up and hide for a couple of days after that. He's come out a couple of times to have a stretch, but otherwise he's still coiled up under his log.
Was gonna handle him properly for the first time today, but gonna wait and see if he decides to come out, first. Don't want to interrupt him if he's resting or something. |
